PSI Pharmacist Registration Preparation (Ireland)

To practice as a pharmacist in Ireland, you must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. The title “Pharmacist” is legally protected, and only registered professionals are permitted to practise.

For internationally qualified pharmacists, the PSI registration pathway typically includes:

• Qualification recognition and assessment
• Evaluation of academic and professional training
• English language proficiency (if required)
• Demonstration of competence aligned with Irish standards
• Completion of registration requirements set by PSI

Recognition Pathways

PSI provides different routes depending on your qualification:

1. EU/EEA Qualification Route

2. Third Country Qualification Route (Non-EU/EEA)

For Non-EU/EEA Pharmacists
